The most effective way to make your voice heard is to call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard (202) 225-3121 and ask to speak with your elected representative (House or Senate) by name. If you can't make a phone call, write a letter. Least effective are E-mail messages - they are junk mail in congressional offices -- but as a last resort, use Write Your Representative or Your Senators (above) to send a message by going to a member's individual website.

There are solutions to America's pressing problems - but you must see that they get attention and a fair hearing in Congress. To either stop bad legislation or to support getting good legislation out of committee and ultimately to a vote on the Floor of the House or Senate, contact your member of Congress today and ask them to oppose legislation you oppose or ask them to become a cosponsor of the bill you are supporting. Do it for America.
It's up to you!
